Here at Kings Highway we are working hard to provide the best nursery in Shreveport, a place where infants and toddlers can learn their first lesson about the love of God through the care that they receive. Parents are provided with pagers, which allow the nursery staff to stay in touch while parents are in worship or Bible study. The nursery is staffed every Sunday morning from 9:00 to 12:20. The nursery is located near the glass, double doors, leading in from the church’s back parking lot.

In this class potty-trained preschoolers gather with caring teachers to hear the stories from the Bible and enjoy Bible related crafts, games, videos and songs. This class takes place during our regular Sunday school hour (normally this is from 10:15 –11:11). The preschool class is located across from the church nursery, near the glass double doors, leading in from the church’s back parking lot.

The River is an interactive Bible learning experience where children from Kindergarten to 5th grade hear a story from the Bible then display their understanding of the story by engaging in various fun activities. Our talented teachers and activity leaders will guide the children as they participate in science experiments, create crafts, act out dramas, or engage in one of the many other fun and interesting activities related to that week’s Bible story. This class takes place during our regular Sunday school hour (normally this is from 10:15 –11:11). The River classrooms are located on the second floor near the elevator.

The goal of our Chi Rho Sunday school class is to help our middle schoolers to grow as Christians by taking a deeper look at some of the Bible stories they have learned in the River while also introducing them to parts of the Bible they are less familiar with, such as the Epistles, the Psalms, the Prophets, and the history of the early church as told in The Acts of the Apostles. We focus on how Christians can make the best choices in an often confusing world. This class takes place during our regular Sunday school hour (normally this is from 10:15 –11:11). The Chi Rho classroom is located on the second floor, near the elevators, across from The River classrooms.

In the CYF Sunday school class our high schoolers continue to learn from the Bible as they discuss strategies for successfully navigating through the difficult choices they face. Our goal is to guide our youth to become the best disciples/followers of Jesus Christ that they can be. This class takes place during our regular Sunday school hour (normally this is from 10:15 –11:11). The CYF classroom is located on the 3rd floor of Education Building. If you are standing on the basketball court, you can find the class by entering the last door on the right.
